Wintering Well

A supportive community of like-minded individuals as we explore winter’s potential to nourish our minds, bodies, and spirits. Only 12 spots available!

Welcome to Wintering Well Club, a transformative 5-month experience designed to help you fall in love with winter. Together, we’ll explore how to slow down, reconnect with nature, and find beauty in the quiet, stillness, and rest that winter offers.

This program was created for adults who, like me, have struggled with winter. I used to spend months dreading the cold, piling on layers, and yearning for spring. But through intentional practice, I’ve learned that winter holds deep gifts of reflection, restoration, and connection—gifts we can’t experience at any other time of year. Now, I want to share this with you.

In the Wintering Well Club, you’ll join a supportive community of like-minded individuals as we explore winter’s potential to nourish our minds, bodies, and spirits. This program is designed to guide you through mindset shifts around rest and slowing down, deepen your connection with the natural world, while offering fun, engaging activities that will spark joy and creativity during the coldest months.

November

Preparing for Winter with Intention and Connection

Our journey begins with a virtual celebration to connect, set intentions, and introduce ourselves.

December

Celebrating the Darkness

Our bi-weekly virtual group begins alongside our first Winter Wander and an in-person retreat (Dec 8)  we’ll gather in the afternoon at the beautiful Davis Lodge near Hudson, Illinois.  We’ll welcome winter with a Winter Solstice fire ceremony, indulge in a delicious gourmet meal together,  a luminary ritual, and feed all of our senses with a candlelight sound bath.  This retreat will help you settle into the rhythm of winter with celebration, peace and joy.

January

Embracing Rest and Rejuvenation

In addition to our bi-weekly virtual group gathering, and Winter Wander, we’ll have our second in-person retreat (Jan 12) at the Yoga Lab, we’ll indulge in a hot yin yoga (open to all body types and abilities). Afterward, we’ll nourish our bodies with a make-your-own Açaí bowl station.  We’ll also learn how to befriend crows and care for our feathered friends in the Winter.  Plus, you’ll be gifted tools to treat your own neighborhood birds! To wrap up, we’ll have fun with a creative activity to help us come home to our own needs for rest and self-care.

February

Discovering Winter Wonders

In addition to our bi-weekly virtual group gathering, and Winter Wander, we’ll enjoy our third in-person retreat taking us on a road trip to Peoria (Feb 2) for a day of discovery. We’ll embark on a gentle hike at the Forest Park Nature Center. Then we’ll enjoy a relaxing Himalayan salt room experience, light refreshments,  and a reiki session. Surely hungry at this point, we’ll head to Zion Coffee Bar for their fresh food and be treated to a matcha tea ceremony/demo. Finally, we’ll take part in some fun candle art.

March

Cultivating Gratitude for Winter

We’ll have our final virtual group gathering, and Winter Wander, as well as enjoy our final in-person retreat (March 16) focused on celebration and gratitude. We’ll start the day with a fun scavenger hunt on the Constitution trail, and then head inside for a soup bar, where you can try delicious soups, AND take some home to enjoy throughout the week. For dessert we’ll be treated to a coffee and chocolate pairing experience from my good friends at the Coffee Hound. Followed by a hands-on succulent garden workshop where you’ll make and take home your own succulent arrangement. We’ll wrap up our time together with a winter gratitude ceremony, reflecting on the season’s gifts and the deep connections we’ve made.
